Sudan Events – Follow-ups
Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, confirmed the cohesion of the Sudanese nation in its war against the Janjaweed militia.
Al-Atta addressed the joint forces in Omdurman and the Revolutionary Brigades from the special support groups operating under the command of the armed forces, as part of the popular resistance.
He stated that the atrocities and violations committed by this terrorist militia are not surprising.
Al-Atta added that this war is led by the Sudanese nation in all its spectrums against the “devil” of Sudan known as the Janjaweed, emphasizing that the Sudanese people will remain proud and resistant to defeat.
He saluted the joint forces and the youth of the glorious December Revolution, describing their fight alongside the armed forces as a gathering of revolutionaries.
Al-Atta had previously inspected the training and preparation for operations of these forces, which are working in one trench with the armed forces in Khartoum State.
