Badi Directs Ministries of Finance and Agriculture to Adhere to Regulations and Laws

The governor of the Blue Nile region, Major General Ahmed Al-Amda Badi, directed the Ministries of Finance, Agriculture, and Forestry to focus on performance improvement and compliance with regulatory laws governing their work.
This directive came during a joint meeting attended by Abdullah Issa Zayed, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, and Jamal Ahmed Saleh, acting Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, along with directors and their deputies from both ministries.
The Secretary-General of the regional government explained that the meeting is part of the ongoing preparations for drafting budget proposals for the upcoming year, 2025. He noted that the meeting endorsed the necessary measures to increase financial flows and revenues through effective coordination between the Finance and Agriculture Ministries in the region.
He added that the governor appreciated the efforts of both ministries and the achievements accomplished under the current challenging conditions.
