Rise in Dollar Price in Parallel Market

According to Al-Ahdath, foreign currency prices have increased in the parallel market, while exchange rates in Sudanese banks have remained stable at the rates announced last week.
Currency traders in the market reported that the purchase price of the dollar rose slightly on Saturday, reaching 2,650 Sudanese pounds, with a selling price of 2,750 pounds. The purchase price of the Saudi riyal also rose to 704.78 pounds, with a selling price of 731.38 pounds. The Egyptian pound saw fluctuations, with a purchase price of 54.13 pounds and a selling price of 56.17 pounds. The UAE dirham’s purchase price reached 722.07 pounds, with a selling price of 749.31 pounds. The euro was priced at 2,880.43 pounds for purchase and 2,989.13 pounds for sale, while the British pound was purchased at 3,397.43 pounds and sold at 3,525.64 pounds. The Qatari riyal’s purchase price was 726.02 pounds, with a selling price of 753.42 pounds.
Traders attributed the price increase to a rise in demand for foreign currencies.
