Agricultural Bank Pledges Financing for Winter Season

Azeddine Al-Faqir, Deputy General Manager of the Agricultural Bank, announced the bank’s readiness to support the winter agricultural season in the Northern State and other key production states. During a meeting with Northern State advisor, Major General (Rtd.) Kamal Mousa, he confirmed the bank’s commitment to financing agricultural activities in coordination with relevant agencies to ensure a successful season. Al-Faqir praised the Northern State’s production leadership and acknowledged the local government’s efforts under Governor Abdeen Awadallah’s supervision to overcome challenges. He expects the winter crop to yield a significant amount of grains to meet Sudan’s food needs. Northern State advisor emphasized the bank’s vital role in supporting farmers, noting that food provision is as crucial as any frontline struggle.
