On Wednesday, Chairman of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, congratulated U.S. President Donald Trump on his victory in the U.S. presidential election.
Al-Burhan said via his account on the X platform, “I congratulate President Donald Trump on his victory in the U.S. presidential election, wishing him success.”
The Chairman of the Sovereign Council expressed Sudan’s hope for developing relations with the United States to serve the interests of both countries.
