Sudanese Pound Gains Amid Lower Forex Rates
Sudan Events – Rahab Abdullah
The Sudanese pound has seen notable gains as foreign exchange rates dropped in the parallel market. On Wednesday, the dollar was trading at 2,400 SDG for buying, down from 2,500 SDG. Other currencies, including the Saudi Riyal, Emirati Dirham, Euro, British Pound, and others, also showed declines. Currency dealers cited decreased demand and a halt in major transactions as the reasons behind this trend.
