Sudan Events – Reports
On Saturday, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected the statements made by its Chadian counterpart, in which Chad denied supporting the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The Sudanese ministry confirmed that Chad’s support is documented through satellite images and reports from United Nations experts.
In a statement, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “The continued support from the Chadian regime to the terrorist militia needs no further explanation, given the details and evidence documented by satellite images, UN experts, and investigative reports, which confirm its involvement in the aggression against Sudan.”
The Sudanese Ministry rejected the Chadian statement that denied support for the RSF militia, calling the statement “pitiful” and warning that the international community is fully aware that “Chad is the main conduit for weapons and mercenaries to the Janjaweed militia for use in its war against the Sudanese people.”
The statement further emphasized that Chad resorted to “blatant lies and falsifying facts,” noting that this will not succeed in the face of regional and international justice. It added that Chad must confront the facts with courage and seek to correct its behavior, as it is complicit in the crimes of aggression, genocide, and rapes committed by the RSF militia.
