American Taylor Fritz, ranked fifth in the world, stunned Germany’s Alexander Zverev, ranked second, with a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (7-3) victory on Saturday in Turin, advancing to the final of the ATP Tour Finals.
Fritz ended Zverev’s eight-match winning streak and booked a spot in Sunday’s final, where he will face the winner of the match between Italy’s top seed Jannik Sinner and Norway’s seventh seed Casper Ruud, who are set to play later today.
