Director of Mineral Resources Pledges to Overcome Challenges Facing Mining Companies

The General Director of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, Mohammed Tahir Omar, pledged to address all challenges confronting mining companies in the country.

During a joint meeting with the Director of the General Administration for Mining Security Police, the Director of Mineral Economics Security, the Intelligence Director for the Mining Sector, and the Director of the Moroccan mining company Manub, the parties discussed security plans for mining sites operated by companies.

Mohammed Tahir reassured the mining companies of the stability of the security situation. He praised the robust coordination among security agencies, mining companies, and local communities, which has contributed to stable operations and increased production.
