Mineral Resources Pledge to Develop Mining in Kassala State

Hamza Mohamed Othman, Director of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company office in Kassala State, pledged to double efforts to enhance mining activities in the state.
During the “Mining Investment Forum” held in Kassala State, Hamza highlighted the significant advantages the state possesses in various minerals, which position the mining sector at the forefront of local investments. He noted that Kassala State is rich in minerals beyond gold, such as marble, cement, and others.
Hamza emphasized that the state has become a hub for investors and expressed readiness to provide full support to the state government and investors in the mining sector.
The forum was organized by the Ministry of Minerals through its technical arm, the General Authority for Geological Research, and its regulatory arm, the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited. It was held in collaboration with the Investment Commission of Kassala State and under the patronage of Governor Major General (retired) Al-Sadiq Mohamed Al-Azraq.
