Al-Burhan Directs the Provision of Humanitarian Aid to Displaced People in the Nile River State

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met on Thursday with the acting governor of the Nile River State, Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majid Abu Qurun, in the presence of Amira Ahmed Hassan, Minister of Finance, Economy, and Labor of the state.
The acting governor of the Nile River State stated in a press statement that the meeting addressed the overall situation in the state and the efforts made to provide the necessary requirements for citizens in development, services, and health sectors. He pointed out the arrangements and efforts made by the state government to accommodate the displaced persons from eastern Al-Jazeera State and provide them with essential services and needs.
He added that the Chairman of the Sovereign Council emphasized the importance of focusing on providing shelter services and offering humanitarian and medical aid to the displaced. The Chairman also praised the significant and appreciated efforts made by the state government in developing health services and advancing the health sector.
The meeting also discussed the importance of supporting agricultural projects in the state and preparations for the winter season.
