Hamas’ Al-Qassam Brigades: Israeli Captive Killed in Gaza Attack

Abu Ubaida, spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced on Saturday that an Israeli captive was killed in an Israeli attack on northern Gaza.

The Israeli military has not confirmed this claim.

In a Telegram post, Abu Ubaida held Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government responsible for the safety of their captives, accusing them of “insisting on causing their deaths.”

He added that another captive remains in danger following the killing of her companion in northern Gaza, warning Israel to prepare for the “dilemma” of dealing with the disappearance of their captives’ bodies due to “the widespread destruction in Gaza and the martyrdom of some captors” amid continued Israeli military operations accompanied by heavy air and artillery bombardment for over a month in northern Gaza.
