Russia: Biden’s Actions on Ukraine Are an Attempt to “Sabotage” Trump’s Future Administration

The Sputnik news agency quoted Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as saying today (Friday) that U.S. President Joe Biden’s actions regarding Ukraine are an attempt to “sabotage” President-elect Donald Trump’s future administration.

The agency quoted Lavrov as saying, “By allowing strikes deep inside Russia, Biden seeks to leave as negative a legacy as possible for the incoming administration. Biden’s actions are an attempt to sabotage the work of the future Trump administration.”

Lavrov added during a press conference, “The Democrats want to leave as bad a legacy as possible for the incoming U.S. administration.”

Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that, for the first time in combat operations, it used a hypersonic ballistic missile of the “Oreshnik” type during an attack on an industrial center in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, yesterday.
