Blue Nile Security Committee Assures Commodity Flow

The Blue Nile Region’s Security Committee held an emergency meeting on Sunday at the temporary headquarters of the regional government’s secretariat in the legislative council, chaired by Acting Governor Abdullah Issa Zayed, who is also the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry.

The committee reviewed the flow of consumer goods and the progress of the harvest season to ensure the success of the agricultural season in the region.

The meeting also addressed general security issues and confirmed the stability of security conditions across all provinces. It endorsed plans for currency replacement and emphasized combating rumors by activating the media committee assigned to this task.
