Qalibaf: Iran Activates Advanced Centrifuges

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf announced on Sunday that Tehran has begun activating advanced centrifuges.

Qalibaf said the activation of the advanced centrifuges is “in response to the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors’ anti-Tehran decision,” as reported by state TV channel Press TV.

The IAEA Board of Governors voted 19 to 3 in favor of a resolution proposed by Britain, France, and Germany on Thursday, criticizing Iran for inadequate cooperation and demanding a “comprehensive” report on its nuclear activities by spring 2025.
