Eyewitnesses from Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, revealed on Sunday that a dispute broke out between officers of the Rapid Support Forces militia inside the land administration offices in the city.
An eyewitness at the land administration (who preferred to remain anonymous) told Darfur24 that “a colonel attacked a captain inside the Nyala land offices, located southwest of the Specialized Hospital, while the captain was conducting an administrative transaction there.”
The eyewitness stated that both sides used their personal firearms and exchanged gunfire inside the offices, prompting the private security forces to intervene, separate them, and remove them from the premises without any casualties or damage to property.
