Qatari Delegation Explores Investment in Northern Red Sea Coast

A high-ranking Qatari delegation recently explored investment opportunities along the northern Red Sea coast in Sudan’s Red Sea State.
The visit included the Director-General of the Sea Ports Authority, Mohamed Hassan Mokhtar, the Chairman of the Border Commission, Lieutenant-General Al-Amin Banga, and key officials such as the Director of the General Projects Department, Hatim Mahdi, and the Director of Legal Affairs, Moalana Mutasim Al-Sinousi. Local leaders, dignitaries, and representatives from civil society also participated.
The delegation was welcomed by the Executive Director of Halayeb Locality, Mohamed Adam Ali, alongside the Halayeb Locality Security Committee, community elders, and youth representatives. During the visit, the delegation surveyed the resources and potential of the northern coastline, particularly in the Shanaab area, and toured the historic “Osif Port.” Discussions focused on exploring investment opportunities in the Halayeb locality’s northern coastline.
