Arrangements for Implementing Currency Exchange in Northern State

The governor of Northern State chaired a meeting of the state committee responsible for implementing the gradual currency exchange process in the region.
The meeting discussed preparations by banking, judicial, security, and other relevant parties for the exchange operations.
According to Fath Al-Rahman Malik, Director of the Central Bank of Sudan’s Dongola branch, the meeting reviewed the committee’s media strategy and confirmed the state’s readiness for the process. However, the state is awaiting a decision from the federal committee headed by Sovereign Council Member, Admiral Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, who will set the timeline for the process. He announced that the next state committee meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, will include all bank and financial institution directors in the region.
