FIFA Rankings: Argentina on Top, Saudi Arabia at 59th Globally

The Argentina national team maintained its position as No. 1 in the FIFA World Rankings released on Thursday.
Argentina leads with a slim 24-point margin over second-placed France and is approximately 30 points ahead of Spain, which holds the third spot.
England remains fourth, followed by Brazil in fifth, Portugal in sixth, the Netherlands in seventh, Belgium in eighth, and Italy in ninth. Germany returned to the top ten, securing the tenth position.
During the November international break, a total of 192 matches were played, including World Cup qualifiers for South America, Asia, and Oceania, as well as qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. The period also featured UEFA Nations League and CONCACAF Nations League fixtures, according to FIFA’s official website.
Top Teams by Continent:
Asia: Japan leads the continent at 15th globally, followed by Iran (18th), South Korea (23rd), Australia (26th), and Qatar (46th). Iraq (56th) ranks sixth, followed by Uzbekistan (58th), Saudi Arabia (59th), the UAE (9th in Asia), and Jordan (10th in Asia).
Africa: Morocco tops the African rankings, followed by Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, and Nigeria in the top five. Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Mali, Tunisia, and South Africa complete the top ten.
