Khartoum Water: Arrival of Water Disinfection Materials and a Call for Citizens to Pay Consumption Fees

The General Director of Khartoum State Water Corporation, Engineer Consultant Mohamed Ali Al-Ajab, announced the arrival of quantities of water disinfection materials (chlorine) from abroad, sufficient for four months.
During a meeting of the Supreme Emergency Committee and Crisis Management of Khartoum State, chaired by Governor Ahmed Osman Hamza on Wednesday, he stated that the corporation is currently working on the delivery of the second batch of disinfection materials. He pointed out several challenges faced by the corporation due to the suspension of water fee collection from consumers. In this regard, he urged water consumers to cooperate positively with the corporation by paying water fees to meet urgent operational needs in various areas of work.
In the same context, the meeting praised the efforts of the corporation in securing and delivering the disinfection materials to their destination.
