Stable Crop Prices at El-Nuhud Commodity Exchange

The El-Nuhud Commodity Market witnessed relatively stable crop prices on Thursday, according to the official auction records.
A quintal of peanuts was priced at SDG 25,000 for cash payments and SDG 27,000 for transactions through the “Bankak” system. A ton of shelled peanuts was sold for around SDG 900,000 via transfers and between SDG 790,000 and SDG 800,000 in cash.
Arabic gum recorded the highest price, ranging between SDG 190,000 and SDG 210,000 per quintal.
Sesame was priced between SDG 75,000 and SDG 80,000 per quintal.
Roselle (Hibiscus) was priced at SDG 45,000 per quintal in cash and SDG 50,000 via bank transfers.
