The Governor of Northern State, Abideen Awadallah, has issued a decision to suspend the sale and transfer of land ownership under the jurisdiction of the state authorities.
The decision includes halting auctions and direct sales of agricultural, residential, and investment lands managed by the Ministries of Infrastructure and Urban Development, Production and Economic Resources, and Investment and Industry.
It also suspends the transfer of ownership for agricultural, residential, service, and investment lands across the state until further notice.
The directive instructed the Ministries of Infrastructure and Urban Development, Production and Economic Resources, Investment and Industry, Land Registrations, and other relevant bodies to implement the decision immediately.
