The exchange rates of foreign currencies against the Sudanese pound in the parallel (informal) market have risen again.
Currency traders justified the price increase by the increased demand for foreign currencies compared to the supply, which highlights the impact of currency exchange.
Traders in the foreign exchange market reported that the buying price of the dollar on Friday showed a slight increase, reaching 2540 pounds compared to 2520 pounds on Thursday. The price of the Saudi riyal also increased, reaching 675.53 pounds, while the price of the Egyptian pound stood at 50.810 pounds. The price of the Emirati dirham was 686.64 pounds, and the euro was 2673.68 pounds. The British pound reached 3256.41 pounds, and the buying price of the Qatari riyal increased to 697.80 pounds. The Bahraini dinar was priced at 6535.52 pounds, while the Omani riyal also stood at 6535.52 pounds, and the Kuwaiti dinar reached 8011.29 pounds.
