Gold prices in Sudan stabilized on Sunday at the same levels recorded at the end of last week, coinciding with stable global gold prices.
The price of 24-karat gold was 50,900 SDG, equivalent to approximately 84.65 USD.
Meanwhile, 21-karat gold was priced at 44,550 SDG, equal to about 74.08 USD, and 18-karat gold was 38,200 SDG, equivalent to 63.49 USD. The price of a gold pound stood at 356,400 SDG, roughly 592.55 USD.
Jewelers and gold traders noted an increase in gold purchases in recent days.
