Urgency for Establishing a Free Zone in Gedaref

The Acting Governor of Gedaref, Major General Mohamed Ahmed Hassan Ahmed, discussed with the Minister of Investment, Ahlam Madani Mahdi, the steps for establishing the planned free zone in Gedaref.

For her part, Minister Ahlam Madani confirmed the Ministry’s commitment to establishing the free zone in the state, given the state’s economic importance due to its abundant resources.

In this context, the Acting Governor of Gedaref reiterated the state’s government’s keenness to provide all necessary support for the creation of the free zone to contribute to driving the state’s economic growth. He also praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Investment to achieve this goal.
