In the hours leading up to the Sudanese currency exchange process, foreign currency rates against the Sudanese pound showed mixed trends. While the U.S. dollar and Saudi riyal strengthened, the Egyptian pound and Qatari riyal experienced slight declines, and other currencies remained stable.
Currency traders reported that the U.S. dollar’s buying rate rose to 2,540 pounds on Monday, up from 2,500 pounds on Sunday. Similarly, the Saudi riyal increased to 678.19 pounds, compared to 664.89 pounds.
The buying rate for the Egyptian pound stood at 50.85 pounds, the UAE dirham at 694.82 pounds, the euro at 2,684.21 pounds, and the British pound at 3,227.84 pounds. Meanwhile, the Qatari riyal was at 696.72 pounds.
