Sudan Officially Launches Unified Gold Export Portal

Member of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, stated that the Sudanese people are courageously and proudly fighting a battle for dignity. He noted that Sudan is simultaneously combating military, economic, media, and humanitarian challenges. Despite these battles, Sudan’s people have demonstrated resilience, as evidenced by the country’s ability to export its products to global markets.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Unified Gold Export Portal on Monday in Port Sudan, Jaber emphasized the portal’s role in streamlining governmental gold export procedures in line with economic policies. Gold, as Sudan’s top resource, will benefit from faster returns, bringing exporters and the government closer together.

Jaber praised the collaboration among relevant authorities and expressed optimism about Sudan’s readiness to face future challenges with dignity and determination.
