The Arrival of New 500 and 1,000 Sudanese Pound Notes in Banks

Monitoring by Al-Ahdath revealed the arrival of the new 500 and 1,000 Sudanese pound banknotes to all banks in the six states designated for currency exchange. Banks have also received counterfeit detection devices.
Reliable sources confirmed that adequate security measures have been implemented to ensure a smooth exchange process. Banks have increased their operational pace to facilitate these exchanges.
The Central Bank of Sudan and the Supreme Committee for Currency Exchange announced that currency exchange operations would commence on Tuesday.
