Salah Wins Premier League Player of the Month for the Sixth Time

The Premier League announced on Friday that Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has been named Player of the Month for November.
According to the league’s official website, Salah contributed to five of Liverpool’s seven goals in their three November victories, keeping the Reds at the top of the table. He scored the winning goal in a 2–1 win against Brighton, assisted twice against Aston Villa, and netted two second-half goals in a 3–2 triumph over Southampton.
Salah’s tally of 13 goals this season ties him with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland. With 21 total goal contributions, Salah leads the league, four ahead of second-placed Cole Palmer.
This marks Salah’s first Player of the Month award since October 2023 and his sixth overall, tying him with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo. He needs just one more to match Harry Kane and Sergio Agüero’s record of seven awards.
In related news, Liverpool manager Arne Slot claimed the Manager of the Month award. Under Slot’s guidance, Liverpool won all three of their November matches, ending the month eight points clear at the top of the table.
This is Slot’s first monthly award, beating out competitors Fabian Hürzeler and Gary O’Neil.
