Field sources informed “Darfur24” that the army has advanced towards the Kafouri area in Khartoum Bahri after recapturing the Samarab area north of the city.
Intense artillery and air battles took place in Khartoum Bahri from dawn Saturday until sunset.
Soldiers broadcasted videos showing the army’s presence between Samarab and Al-Azba districts.
The official page of the Sudanese Armed Forces published a statement from the military commander of the Kadaro area, congratulating the troops on the progress made in Bahri.
Meanwhile, the Samarab Emergency Room urged organizations to provide humanitarian aid to displaced people who sought refuge in the Al-Hamada area.
The emergency room stated that there had been mass displacement from Samarab due to the violent clashes between the army and the RSF.
