The Leadership Office of the Federal Gathering rejected the attempts by Tansiqiyya Taqaddum to announce the formation of an exile government in areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), aimed at establishing a political and diplomatic front for the militia.
In a statement, the Leadership Office described this move as a step toward secession and the dismantling of the Sudanese state, accusing political forces participating in this initiative of committing high treason. The office reaffirmed its opposition to the proposal and called on Tansiqiyya Taqaddum, political forces, organizations, and resistance committees under its umbrella to prioritize Sudan’s national interests over personal ambitions and foreign agendas.
The statement accused active regional and international forces supporting the RSF of standing behind the exile government project. It stated that the proposal aims to shield RSF leaders from prosecution for crimes, including genocide, committed against the Sudanese people.
