The Militia… The Pest of Sudan and Its Affliction (2 – 2)

Dr. Osama Mohamed Abdelrahim

Eliminating the Sources of Food for the Termite: This corresponds to cutting off the supply lines and communications for the rebellious militias in areas where they gather, spread, or mobilize. This is one of the most important elements (cutting off supply lines) which, if successful, can shorten the duration of the war, transitioning from military operations to security operations to eliminate the pockets of gangs, criminals, and lawbreakers, ultimately eradicating the rebellious militia.

Preventing Moisture Buildup and Fixing Leaks in the Termite’s Habitat: This corresponds to surrounding the rebellious militia at their points of entry, their leadership headquarters, and isolating them from local populations as much as possible, especially in their social shelters.

Ventilating the Area and Improving Airflow Around the Termite’s Habitats: This corresponds to the tightening of army forces’ movements, their supply systems, communications, leadership, and control. This also includes all local and international media activity, as well as political and diplomatic efforts to raise awareness, support the country’s cause, and undermine the activities of the rebellious militias and their supporters both inside and outside the country. It also involves the political and military leadership’s arrangements for managing the state and running its affairs efficiently and in line with the current situation.

Chemical Barriers Around Termite Habitats and the Use of Chemical Bait: This corresponds to all military operations the army can conduct against the rebellious militias, including encirclement, surrounding, mining, electronic warfare, and using force and weapons to take control.

Direct Spraying of Termite Groups with Pesticides: This corresponds to all military actions, such as artillery or airstrikes, gunfire confrontations, and the subsequent ground operations, including air drops, river assaults, troop maneuvers, and special forces interventions.

Using Physical Methods and Heat Treatments to Kill the Termite: This corresponds to enhancing the army’s firepower and destructive capacity, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in targeting.

Eliminating Termite Colonies and Nests: This corresponds to the army destroying militia headquarters, command centers, and camps.

Using Chemical Barriers Such as Sand, Metal, or Digging Trenches to Prevent Termites from Reaching Certain Areas: This corresponds to all engineering and technical operations carried out by army engineering units, such as mining, de-mining, fortifications, trench digging, and creating access paths.

While the termites have numerous harmful effects, they also have some benefits. These include decomposing organic material and improving soil aeration and absorption. Termites also serve as a food source for certain animals, birds, and reptiles, contributing to ecological balance. Similarly, we can see that the rebellious militias, through their actions, have created beneficial outcomes for Sudanese society:

Solidarity and Support Between the Army and the People: This strong cohesion is something lost during the negative practices associated with the December Revolution and the fall of the National Salvation Government, which led to a large section of the Sudanese population opposing the army.

Exposing the True Intentions and Practices of Many Individuals, Leaders, and Political Sectors: These groups aligned themselves with the militias and embraced foreign agendas, betraying the dignity, sovereignty, and safety of the country.

Those who dream of a future role for the rebellious militias in the lives of Sudanese people—whether individually or as groups, and whether politically, socially, economically, militarily, or in security—are akin to those who allow termites to share their homes, stores, farms, offices, and lives, bringing destruction and decay. The militias, through their actions, have sealed their fate, leaving Sudan behind with no return to a stable and peaceful life.

Those who desire the spread of the militia’s termites are those whose hearts have died, whose minds have been corrupted, and whose vision has been clouded by ignorance and misguided thoughts. They are the same individuals who harbor ill thoughts about the army, and they will face the consequences of their actions.

In conclusion, Sudan and its people are not exceptions to God’s will and laws. He has tested them with this cursed war for purification and correction. May this test be a path of forgiveness and reward, both in this world and the hereafter, leading to greater awareness of our faith and the state of our country, to build a bright and prosperous tomorrow.
