Sudan Events – Agencies
Khartoum Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza emphasized the unique national solidarity between the victories in the Battle of Dignity and the community’s perseverance.
He stated that life will not come to a halt due to the war, announcing the state’s encouragement of production and support for producers through the Sohenda Abdel Wahab initiative to assist productive families.
During his address on Tuesday at the “Widows and Orphans Products Program,” the governor directed the Ministry of Social Development and the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports to support individuals aspiring to work, particularly those who lost their jobs due to the war.
He urged the Ministry of Social Development to compile an inventory of productive projects for potential support. “The cycle of production must continue,” he said, adding, “solidarity and compassion are essential at this stage to support all vulnerable groups.”
The governor also confirmed backing for the Cooperative Institution of the Armed Forces in its citizen-support programs and pledged 50,000 SDG in support for every producer.
