Peanut Prices Rise While Gum Arabic Prices Drop

Radhi Ali Baraka, Director of the Auction at El-Nuhud Market Exchange, reported Tuesday that peanut prices have risen while gum arabic prices have declined.
Baraka revealed that peanut prices ranged between 26,000 SDG and 27,000 SDG per quintal for cash sales, rising to 28,000 SDG per quintal through bank transfers. For shelled peanuts, prices remained stable compared to Monday, with cash sales reaching 810,000-820,000 SDG per ton, while prices through bank transfers increased to 900,000-920,000 SDG.
On the other hand, gum arabic prices saw a slight decline, ranging from 170,000 SDG to 190,000 SDG per quintal for cash sales.
Meanwhile, sesame prices remained stable at 65,000-70,000 SDG per quintal for cash sales, and hibiscus prices showed significant stability, ranging from 35,000 SDG to 40,000 SDG per quintal this week.
