National Alignment… An Imperative Duty (2-2)

By: Al-Nazir Ibrahim Al-Aqab
Continuing from what we started yesterday, we must adopt an objective perspective on the existing differences within the national ranks and adopt appropriate solutions to overcome these disparities and disagreements, based on the agreed-upon references and following the principle of fruitful and constructive dialogue, as well as being willing to make concessions for the benefit of the collective good. This is the appropriate course of action under such circumstances, given its positive outcomes for collective entities and the return of the state. The focus should be on comprehensive societal alignment, not just political alignment, which necessarily means starting from the principle of collective alignment around the nation and its issues, mobilizing all official, partisan, and popular efforts to achieve the overarching goal of restoring the state and ending the destructive conflict.
This, of course, cannot be realistically achieved without the state and the national political forces working to achieve alignment at both the regional and international levels. Especially since the national alignment projects that can be built upon are widely supported locally, regionally, and internationally to implement the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue, UN Security Council Resolution 2216, and related international resolutions and shared international interests. These references and interests are key to restoring the state and ending the current instability and ongoing war, provided there is national, regional, and international alignment and a united internal front working together with coordinated efforts.
From the above, the utmost importance of the national media’s involvement in countering attempts to destabilize Sudan and divide it comes into play. It is vital in strengthening national alignment, loyalty, and citizens’ sense of belonging, reflecting its deep commitment to defending the nation’s interests and cohesion.
In light of the significant challenges Sudan faces today, the necessity of national alignment becomes an indispensable duty for every citizen who loves their country, especially as external conspiracies aiming to destabilize Sudan and exploit traitors and agents to undermine its internal security have become more dangerous and evident. Hence, the responsibility of everyone today—government, people, and media—is to protect the country and shield the society from these escalating threats.
The importance of national alignment is not just a slogan to be raised; it is a fundamental pillar for building a strong community capable of confronting its enemies. This alignment must stem from genuine awareness and a deep understanding of the attempts to destroy and undermine our country’s stability and sovereignty.
What is hopeful, however, is that the people, after the horrific targeting they have faced during the current war, now possess a strong immunity and awareness of the fact that external conspiracies will not cease, and that nations are built and thrive only through the efforts of their loyal citizens. Additionally, our true Sudanese national media, throughout these trying times, has continued to present a respected model in addressing the nation’s issues and countering plans for discord. This is because media plays a pivotal role in this regard, serving as the mirror reflecting what is happening and the platform through which citizens can access the truth, free from malicious rumors.
Strengthening true national loyalty and belonging in this exceptional phase of Sudan’s history is not just a popular demand but also an investment in Sudan’s national security. It is a call to all institutions, bodies, and political forces in general to instill the values of belonging within society, starting from schools and universities, passing through the media, and extending to social media platforms. This will help nurture the next generation with a rooted national awareness that cannot be manipulated.
In conclusion, the necessity is clear for us all to recognize that security is not the responsibility of any single entity, but a collective responsibility. We must stand united, believing that our strength lies in our cohesion, and that the voices of agents and traitors will remain weak as long as we stand firm and united in support of truth and the nation. Nations are built only by the hands of their loyal citizens through strict adherence to and the optimal application of the principles, values, and concepts of true national alignment.
