Currency Exchange Committee Eases Concerns of Traders and Citizens in Khartoum

The High Committee for Currency Exchange has alleviated concerns among traders and residents in Khartoum State, reassuring them that their old currency notes will remain valid until all technical arrangements with banks are finalized. The committee directed that all denominations of the old currency should continue to be accepted in transactions.
Khartoum Governor Ahmed Othman Hamza welcomed the delegation from the High Committee for Currency Exchange arriving from Port Sudan on Sunday. The meeting included the Secretary-General of Khartoum State’s government, Al-Hadi Abdul-Sayyid, and members of Khartoum’s currency exchange committee.
