Minister of Interior Inspects Currency Exchange Operations at Sudan Central Bank

During an inspection visit on Thursday, Minister of Interior Khalil Basha Sayrin observed the progress of the currency exchange process for 500-pound and 1,000-pound denominations at the Sudan Central Bank branch in Port Sudan.
He was received by the Governor of the Sudan Central Bank, Barai Al-Siddiq Ali, his deputies, the branch manager in Port Sudan, and the head and members of the Operations and Monitoring Committee for currency exchange.
The minister praised the efforts of the employees at the Sudan Central Bank and the banking system as a whole, commending their dedication to the success of the currency exchange process. During the visit, he toured the bank’s departments and received a detailed briefing from the specialized departments.
