Gibril: The Militia Will Lose Its Positions Before the Activists’ Government Sees the Light

Sudan Events – Agencies
The Minister of Finance and head of the Justice and Equality Movement, Gibril Ibrahim, confirmed that there is a significant disagreement among the activists of the Civilian Forces Coordination (Taqaddum) regarding the idea of forming a parallel government in areas controlled by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
Ibrahim stated, according to the news site Al-Muhaqqiq, “It is most likely that the idea of forming a parallel government will die in its infancy,” adding, “The important aspect of this proposal is that it confirms that the activists of Taqaddum are the political wing of the RSF; otherwise, the militia would not have allowed them to form a government in their very temporary areas of control, God willing.” He affirmed that they will not be able to establish a government in Sudan and that the Sudanese people will not accept them. He added that the RSF is on its way to losing all its positions before the activists’ government comes to fruition, stressing that “the vessel reflects its contents.” He accused the RSF of targeting innocent civilians, a fact witnessed by the whole world. He also mentioned that the RSF believes that everyone is a “scoundrel like its mercenaries,” while asserting that the joint forces have an unblemished history and have never attacked civilians in the Al-Zurq area, which is a military zone where weapons are stored and armies are mobilized
