The weekly report from the Emergency Health Committee of the Ministry of Health in Khartoum State confirmed the death of 9 people and the injury of 121 others due to the ongoing war and the systematic shelling by the rebel militias on safe areas, as well as random gunfire during the past week.
The report, presented during the Emergency Health Committee meeting chaired by Dr. Ahmed Al-Bashir Fadlallah, Director of the General Department of Preventive Medicine, revealed that 614 students who were sitting for the Sudanese secondary certificate exams received medical checks and treatment after visiting fixed health centers in the Omdurman and Khartoum North Localities, which the Ministry of Health had designated for students during this period according to its plan to provide health services to exam candidates before and during the exams.
