Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The National Congress Party renewed its support for the armed forces and their supporting forces, praising their victories over the rebel militias in various fronts. It also demanded the release of its detained leaders, stating that no charges had been proven against them and citing their health conditions that require treatment either within Sudan or abroad.
The party’s leadership office condemned the crimes committed by the rebel militias and their supporting entities, which include killing, torturing, displacing civilians, looting their property, obstructing their movement, and destroying infrastructure and public services.
