Opening of the Children’s Complex and Specialized Surgeries at Shendi Hospital

Dr. Kamal Al-Amin Osman, the General Manager of Shendi Educational Hospital and a Diagnostic Radiology Consultant, announced the opening of the Children’s Complex and Specialized Surgeries at Shendi Educational Hospital.

During his speech at the opening ceremony on Friday, he stated that the building consists of care facilities for newborn children, intensive care for adults, an operating complex, as well as patient rooms. He also mentioned their efforts to localize all medical services in the Shendi locality and emphasized that the building is a significant addition to medical services for the Shendi and Atbara localities. He expressed hope for further localization of medical services in Shendi and noted that Shendi Hospital and all hospitals in the Nile River State, despite the challenges, have managed to accommodate the large number of citizens visiting the hospitals and providing medical services comfortably. He also sent a message of thanks to all the hospital staff for their efforts, as well as to all health sector workers in the Nile River State.
