Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The US Special Envoy for Sudan, Tom Periello, said that 638,000 people in Sudan are facing famine.
He explained through his account on the “X” platform, on Friday, that more than 30 million Sudanese need humanitarian aid.
The US envoy for Sudan stressed that the Sudanese people need an end to the fighting and that all warring parties allow humanitarian aid to reach immediately.
Periello called on the international community to be more aware of the severity of the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.
