Paris Saint-Germain clinched the French Super Cup title after defeating AS Monaco 1-0 in the final of the local competition. The match was held at Stadium 974 in Doha, Qatar. Ousmane Dembélé scored the only goal of the game in the 90+2 minute.
This marks PSG’s 13th Super Cup victory, having previously won in the years: 1995, 1998, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2023. The victory denied Monaco its fifth title, as the club had previously won the competition in 1961, 1985, 1997, and 2000.
PSG had also won the French League and French Cup last season, while Monaco played the match as runners-up in the league.
