Moroccan Aboukhlal Leads Toulouse to Victory

Moroccan international Zakaria Aboukhlal led Toulouse to a 1-0 victory over Lens in Matchweek 16 of the French League, scoring the winning goal in the 73rd minute from a penalty he earned himself after being fouled by Malang Sarr.
Lens played with ten men from the 61st minute after Portuguese midfielder David Pereira da Costa, who had come on at halftime, was sent off.

Strasbourg also earned their second consecutive win, overturning a deficit to beat Auxerre 3-1.
Meanwhile, Angers capitalized on home advantage, beating Brest 2-0. Angers secured their fourth win of the season, moving up to 14th place with 16 points, three points behind Brest, who dropped to 12th.
