Al-Burhan and Kabashi in the Field: Tightening the Noose on the Militias

The armed forces and their allied troops continue to advance on various battlefronts to end the rebellion in the country. Since the beginning of 2025, the armed forces have been tightening the noose on the rebel militias in the Al-Jazeera, Khartoum, and Darfur axes. Alongside this progress and these victories, the leadership remains actively engaged, inspecting operational theaters and reviewing plans to achieve the imminent, comprehensive victory.
Al-Burhan at the Artillery Corps:
On Tuesday, the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, visited the Artillery Corps in Atbara, River Nile State. Al-Burhan was received by the commander of the Artillery Corps, alongside officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the artillery unit.
Kabashi in Tandelti:
On Tuesday, Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Shams Al-Din Kabashi, arrived in Tandelti, White Nile State. He was accompanied by Lieutenant General Muhammad Abbas Al-Labeeb, Deputy Director of the General Intelligence Service, and Major General Mu’tasim Abdullah, Deputy Director of the Defense Industries System.
Kabashi was received by Major General Haidar Ali Al-Tarifi, Supervisor of the Al-Sayyad Battalion, and Major General Asim Abdullah Al-Fadil Issa, Head of Al-Sayyad Battalion Operations.
Comprehensive Report:
Kabashi received a briefing on the ongoing operations in the area and praised the efforts of the forces on the frontlines, particularly the Al-Sayyad Battalion, which demonstrated exceptional performance in the “Battle of Dignity.” He commended the excellent organization of the ranks and the joint coordination among all forces, regular security units, popular resistance, and volunteers. Kabashi lauded their high national spirit, determination, and resolve to defeat the rebellion and cleanse every inch of the nation from the rebel militias’ presence.
Al-Sayyad Congratulated:
General Kabashi extended congratulations to the Al-Sayyad Battalion for their achievements in past operations and the victories that raised the morale of the Sudanese people. He expressed hope for further victories in the coming period.
Sennar Fire:
As part of his inspection of the battlefields, General Kabashi also visited Sennar. He was received by Major General Ali Hassan Bilo and Major General Abdul Moneim Abdul Basit Muhammad, the Commander of Sennar Operations.
Kabashi received a briefing on the progress of operations in the region and was reassured of the operational stance in the Sennar axis. He praised the immense sacrifices made by the armed forces, other regular forces, and volunteers in defending the nation’s sovereignty, land, and unity, and in defeating the rebellious terrorist militias.
