Launch of Electronic Customs Valuation Database

On Tuesday, Major General Salah Ahmed Ibrahim, Director of the Customs Forces, launched the Electronic Customs Valuation Database system at the North Port.
He praised the efforts made by the General Directorate of Information Technology, urging continued efforts to keep up with technological advancements to improve performance and speed up procedures in 2025. He emphasized the need to complete the networking with all relevant bodies.
He added that this initiative places the Customs Forces at the forefront of institutions implementing the government’s e-government program through digitization in procedural transactions and administrative and financial programs under a unified umbrella.
