Prioritizing the Development of the Industrial Sector

The mechanism for monitoring the implementation of recommendations from the Industrial Development Conference, which took place in May of the previous year, held its first meeting on Thursday at the Ministry of Energy and Oil building in Port Sudan.
The head of the committee, Minister of Energy and Oil, Muhyiddin Na’im, stated that the mechanism, which was formed by a decision from the Council of Ministers to implement the conference’s recommendations and includes all ministers of the industrial sector, agreed to review the methodology and plan the timeline for implementation.
The head of the mechanism revealed that the industrial sector will make a scientific and optimal launch to greatly support the sector in all its forms. He also affirmed that the committee is prepared for the post-war period and highlighted the victories achieved by the armed forces in the Battle of Dignity on all fronts.
He set next week for the next meeting.
For her part, the committee’s rapporteur, Minister of Industry, Engineer Mahasen Ali Ya’qub, stated that the meeting involved reviewing the conference’s recommendations and agreeing on the preparation mechanism. She emphasized that the work will continue until all discussed points are implemented, and the meeting focused on prioritizing actions and monitoring the implementation of the recommendations on the ground.
