Ground defenses intercepted a drone attack targeting the Merowe Dam. While most drones were neutralized, one struck the power station, causing a fire and a complete power outage in River Nile, Red Sea, and Khartoum states. Electricity was gradually restored thanks to extensive efforts by power teams.
