Increase in Transfer Fees from “Your Bank”

Complaints have increased from citizens in several states where the currency was replaced with the 500- and 1,000-pound denominations, regarding the scarcity of cash liquidity.

Citizens confirmed that cash holders are exploiting this crisis, with the transfer commission from “Your Bank” to cash rising to 15% for some bank transfer recipients in the Atbara and Shendi markets.

In the cities of Rabak and Jebalain, the transfer commission from “Your Bank” to cash increased to 20%.
