Emphasis on the Importance of Implementing Agricultural Work Regulations and Laws
The Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Forestry of the Nile River State, Salah El-Din Ali Mohamed Ahmed, discussed the agricultural situation of the New Manasir Project, the purification process, and the establishment of winter crops during his meeting on Tuesday with Tayeb Khalafallah, the Director of Agriculture in Al-Damar locality, and Tarek Khalifa Idris, the Director of the New Manasir Project. The meeting also covered the distribution of the village plots of “Village Six,” which are being worked on in accordance with the legally established regulations and guidelines.
Salah El-Din emphasized the importance of continuous monitoring and engagement with farmers in the fields, providing advisory services, and delivering technical recommendations to ensure good productivity.
He also highlighted the importance of applying the regulations and laws governing agricultural work, coordinating effectively between the local authority and the project management, and considering the interests of farmers in a way that ensures high production levels.
Tayeb Khalafallah, the Director of Agriculture in Al-Damar locality, expressed his cooperation with the project management, stressing his close monitoring of the farmers and resolving any obstacles hindering progress. He also emphasized intensifying and activating the role of agricultural extension services.
Tarek Khalifa Idris, the Director of the New Manasir Project, confirmed that the purification process is going well and that the project is now establishing various crops. He also announced the provision of technical and logistical support to the farmers and working on increasing the vertical productivity of the project.
